WEATHER & MISCELLANOUS
Tripoli experiences mild winters starting from December. Showers are common and can come unexpectedly. It is recommended you bring warm clothing. Spring begins in April, and Libya experiences mild and plesant weather.
BUSINESS CULTURE
Libyans value personal relationships, and see business relationships as an extension of that belief.
Honestly and friendship are important; and business is always conducted after meals. To be seen to be too hasty in concluding a business deal is seen as rude.
When eating, preferably use your right hand. Using your left hand is considered unclean in Islam, and may offend your hosts.
