Conference Agenda

“Libya Energy 2005: The future of Libya's Oil, Gas, and Power Industries,” will convene amid great excitement in the Libyan capital Tripoli , and in two days of focused and informative networking sessions, will highlight the tremendous untapped potential of Libya 's Oil, Gas, Power, and Water Industries.

Day 1 will kick off with a continental breakfast and will focus on the Oil and Gas sectors, in candid networking sessions, in the form of thematic presentations from IOCs.

Day 2 will begin with an overview of the Libyan Power sector and opportunities for investment and partnership with GECOL, followed in the afternoon by revealing engagements with the Great Man-Made River Authority, and its ambitious $10 billion modernization agenda.

Speakers at the conference will address:

  • The current EPSA IV bidding rounds; legal, regulatory, contractual terms and future plans
  • Enhanced Oil Recovery Techniques(EOR), practical application in the Libyan Petrochemicals Industry
